KANJIRA

The Kanjira is a percussion instrument which I manufacture of glued-together wood like ash, wenge, walnut, etc. The drum body of the Kanjira consists of two rings, which are covered with fish skin. The upper ring can be freely adjusted with the help of four to five screws that are fixed in the lower ring. Thus, the fish skin can be easily and simply stretched.
