The Tombak is coated with natural oil, wax and shellac.
*The tonal quality of the instrument remains unaffected by the various types of wood used; instead, the distinction lied in optical characteristics of the wood grain.

As all instruments are handmade, note that production is time-consuming, taking about 6 weeks from the placement of order and payment.
