Handpan

The sound of handpan is undoubtedly very special. It can immerse you in a hypnotic trance and reduce your stress. Its tone is deep and soft. So it is a real music of relaxation and meditation.

This percussion is the result of multiple attempts by Felix Rohner and Sabina Schärer to reproduce a Caribbean musical instrument called the steel drum that they discovered in 1976.
The Steel drum itself was inspired by the thousands of barrels of oil left by the Marines on the Trinidad beaches after World War II. The steel part of the barrels has been transformed into a melodious instrument.

As all instruments are handmade, note that production is time-consuming, taking about 6 weeks from the placement of order and payment.
